Aurora Aksnes of Norway celebrates her 21st birthday on June 15th! Ah, AURORA, our iconic light, a delightful goddess of dawn. HEARTS! WISHES! MUSIC! It’s been so good, and a wonderful coincidence is that another Norwegian also shares the same birthdate, Edvard Grieg!

Edvard is a world-famous composer, surely everyone alive has heard his music at some point in their lives… check it: “Edvard Grieg (1843 – 1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist. He is best known for his Piano Concerto in A minor and Peer Gynt (which includes Morning Mood and In the Hall of the Mountain King).”

Morning Mood is a favorite of mine. So beautiful, and how many people have heard this musicial phrase but not really known where it came from? Learn something new everyday. Keep Learning. Live. Love.

I’ve gathered up a few Tweets  celebrating AURORA’s birthday, hope you enjoy!

I believe there may be thousands of these loving Birthday wishes Tweets for AURORA from her dedicated and admiring fans. AURORA has held the hearts of many faithful followers for well over a year, and in many cases two or three years (her earliest major releases were 2014/2015) – but her watershed introduction to the world of her admirers was certainly 2016, the year she released her first full-length album, toured North America and appeared on many American late-night shows as well as concerts (like GLASTONBURY!) and many others in many countries. AURORA has actually changed the lives of many of the listeners she has touched with her unique music and personality. But, especially her music. It has spoken to people. It has a special magic. AURORA is magic.
